LRS Northbrook Facility Tour

LRS operates our material recovery facilities (MRFs) to sort and divert recyclables in the Chicagoland area. On the tour of this state-of-the-art facility, we will explore the technology and people power that makes recycling possible. We will also identify recycling rules and discuss how recycling is important to protecting our natural resources, combating climate change, and building a circular economy. LRS prioritizes innovation and sustainability. We look forward to welcoming you to the LRS Northbrook MRF!
- The LRS Northbrook MRF is located at 2300 Carlson Drive.
- All visitors need to sign the attached safety waiver before visiting. We will have printed copies available for all guests to sign.
- Safety is the top priority for everyone entering LRS facilities.
LRS provides the safety equipment listed below:
LRS Provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hardhat
- Ear Plugs
- Safety Goggles
- Reflective Vest
- Mask
Long pants are required
Guests will need to wear closed-toed shoes or boots.
