» This group is where individuals interested in starting a green initiative in Northbrook come to find connections, resources and like-minded people. Ideas are presented and formed into teams of other interested parties. GGN works to connect teams to our network and Village personnel to achieve specific goals for our town. Additionally, we assist with public relations via our media and social media network, and connect projects to fundraising and sponsorships.
Additionally, we operate a monthly e-newsletter which supplies education, facts and event details about sustainability to households.
- Meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month, 7:00pm–9:00pm
- Oversee communications for GGN, providing resources for supporters, PR, communications & marketing for GGN events.
- Send out monthly ECO e-newsletters to the community with educational and community information, and event listings.
- Originate and assist teams organize educational gatherings for residents.
- We organize fundraising events and promote donations.
