Going Green Matters will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 12 – 4pm at the Michigan Shores Club, 911 Michigan Avenue in Wilmette, sponsored by Go Green Wilmette and the Village of Wilmette.
The theme is “Trees: Back To Our Roots.” The fair will feature nearly 100 exhibits on the importance of trees and a wide-variety of other environmental topics. Attendees will be able to leave with new information and inspiration to protect the planet.
See the community solar area, model sustainable home, waste reduction and water protection exhibits, natural yards and edible garden displays, and Go Green Wilmette’s Eco-Station exhibits. Follow a local family’s green makeover progress. Compare more than a dozen of the cleanest, greenest electric cars on the market on display in the parking lot. There will be many student exhibitors and interesting activities for all ages.
