From Kathy: “Earth Day 4 Kids!” was a big success, thanks to all of you! Your time, talent, and upbeat skill set made each child-centered station interesting and valuable in the mission of Go Green Northbrook. The groups of girl scouts and the GBNers also put forth an excellent showing of leadership!
We are thankful to the NB Park District and The NB Village staff that came thru by giving us a safe grassy area, tables, and for coordinating other fine details. In addition, we are absolutely grateful to our sponsors – Katie Spaniak, The Book Bin, and Sunset Foods.
It truly does take a village of people to support the young child, as s/he grows to become a future steward of our beloved planet.
