We all want to eat fresh food, however as we are learning, the date on the packaging tells us next to nothing about the food’s freshness or edibility.

It looks like a great movie and Go Green Northbrook hopes to bring it to the Green Scene at the Northbrook Public Library.
There is currently a bill in the US House about food waste. It includes a section on revising food labeling dates (not a big change but it does make them uniform across the country).
