Saturday, September 13th was the official ribbon cutting ceremony for a new 1-mile stretch of trail of the North Branch Trail at the Chicago Botanic Garden (CBG). This trail connects to the Green Bay Trail to further your bike, ride or walk. A group of Go Green Northbrook members met at Greenbriar School to ride over for the festivities.
This is a wonderful addition to the area so major kudos to all cooperating parties (including the Forest Preserves of Cook County) for making this happen. This is exactly the type of benefit GGN is trying to bring to the area with our goal of adding the TECHNY RIVER TRAIL to the area’s trail map.
